GRAPHICAL ART ATTACK

While in the manic sorting and throwing stuff into boxes phase of moving house, I came across some art I did many years ago.

It's always nice to look back on older work. To think about where you were and the time and also how you would tackle the work now.

Being a person who loves reclaiming and recycling, I'm thinking these are going to be born again some how. Perhaps laser printed on fabric? Not too sure yet but it was nice dusting these off and giving them an airing.

Yes, that's Denise and I.

Seven years races past but I still love the strong graphic nature of these pieces. At the time I was stencilling (in the street) but then started using the old stencils themselves in art.

These are all around A3 size and made of old stencils, discarded sign-writer materials and reclaimed plastic sheeting.

Better get back to packing boxes now.
