Dieselstream Coat

One Week: Two Coats (Part Two)

Dieselstream Coat

Steampunkish coat made from old painters drop-sheet.

Vintage British military buttons adorn the once immaculate coat that has now seen better days.

The silk scarf, perfect for a distinguished pilot and gentleman.

Very little waste as almost all the sheet was used creating details and pockets.

The frayed and tattered hem was the starting point of the whole project.

with a cool attitude this could be pulled off nicely! Do I have to imagine it or you're going to show us?;)

It is wonderful- a work of art and a story - I think it would work really well in ex army blankets too

Fantastic coats. Love the heroic Robinson Crusoe feel of the dropsheet one.

If they ever make a movie set in New Crobuzon, I hope they hire you to design the costumes.

This has got to be my most favourite yet. Am I allowed to say that I would wear it? Cause I'm no man - but you know, I'm kind of tomboyish sometimes in my clothes. And this - well this is just amazing. You come up with the most unique things and it's fantastic to see.

Yes, the right attitude and a thin figure could pull this off. And show it off well. That's not me, but someone for sure!
