Gothic Monk Meets Urban Punk

I make a few clothes. I like them. Some things I love. This is one of them. The Baskerville Coat.

Dark denim long coat with a hood and built in scarf. It's Gothic monk meets urban punk.

-raw and frayed edges
-Hood lining button on back of hood
-double buttons on chest
-scarf tucks through button-down slot on shoulder.
-single button gathers and distorts drape at front side
-three vintage tortoise shell button on right cuff
-heavy weight denim
-built-in scarf and hood

big love -
the design and concept are fabulous... i would love to see it as it ages, how the fraying becomes more pronounced... reflecting the love of the garment over time... and how time and wear become visible...

this is great, i love how you do these deconstructed coats. whenever i make a jacket i get manic and have to finish it properly, technicality takes over design. i also love the attached scarf
