It's time this week to look back at past projects. Projects never photographed till now. I created these wall hangings almost ten years ago. All fabric was from thrift stores. Hand stitched.

They are striking!
Genuine scrap art with punk sensibilities, love it. I like the last one best.
I am a patchwork and quilter first and foremost so I am hyperventilating over these pieces- I love them. Very striking

Valerie- I like that- mind if I borrow that line? Thanks!
Dotty- Thanks- glad you like!
Love the sense of energy and bold purpose. Not qualities traditionally associated with textile art, which makes it all the more striking.
You are a man of many talents!
Multi-talented!! Love these scrap art pieces, very cool.
Especially the last one is wonderful!
Wow they are great!
when i saw the first one i immediately thought of the clock parts you use in your jewelry...and when i saw the 2nd one i thought holy shit. gallery work.

I LOVE THEM! You know this kind of thing really floats my boat! I would love to have the patience to make something like that!
You bowl me over with all this talent. Everything you touch turns to art. Absolutely stunning work!

Obsessive compulsives make the best artists. These are truly FAB!!!
Don, you are welcome to use my description. <3
I would hang any one of them in my house - love them all! I'm a bit partial to aboriginal art with a more modern twist, and the nod from you, & where you took it, is inspired.
these are great, i think they transcend their era of manufacture.
These are WONDERFUL! Thanks for posting the detail pic too, because I can appreciate it more.

I agree with all of the above comments...(but maybe not the obsessive compulsive bit as I believe repetition is all part of creativity) and I would like to add that I like the integrity of your work.
All that you share reflects the integrity and adds confidence to your creations.
Best of luck for all you wish to achieve.
I do see a nice aesthetic here. Really original work.Your attention to detail is astounding.
. . . truly a touch down in art urban !! . . .

Your wall hangings are really unique! I like them all, but I think the last one has to be my favourite. You are such a multi talented man, seems you can do everything:)

Wow, wow and wow - LOVE them all - but the last one - AWESOME!
I especially like the circles one. Hand quilting is the one sort of sewing I do enjoy.
As usual, Awesome (with a capital A) work. Very cool. Love them all.
Here comes another wow.
Amazing work.
Wonderful pieces. And so fascinating to see where your present day artwork has evolved from. Once a sewer, always a sewer.
You never stop surprising One.
I don't know about patience. I reckon there must a meditative quality to this kind of work.
It is wonderful!!
I absolutely love these.
WOW, those are really fantastic!
